Camp days feel like a tapestry. We weave together activities, play, trips, books, songs, and the campers’ own interests and insights to create a great big experience. On hot days, we’re outside running through sprinklers at the park. On snowy days, we might be suited up, studying snowflakes, or indoors, making soup. On rainy days, we might be making instruments, cooking blueberry-peach compote, and exploring art – natural and manmade. Every day is new and exciting, yet laid back. Each season’s camp revolves around a theme, which we learn about, experience, and explore through visual art, music, movement, adventures, science, and social studies.

Do I have to commit to the full summer or full weeks to sign up?
No. We allow completely flexible registration. Just sign up for the days you need. You can add additional days at any point, space permitting. However since we are so small (limit is 29 students per day) we do suggest that you register for all dates you need early to ensure space.
Are all students together in a class or are they in age based groups?
Students are divided in groups in various ways. Sometimes it is based on age or skill level, other times on a student’s own interests. During active work time and meals and snacks students are together in one group.
What is your summer staff like?
Our year round preschool educators are our summer camp staff. We believe that teachers should be articulate, engaged professionals – and that doesn’t change during the summer. In addition, we bring in guest artists and performers as part of our summer camp curriculum.
