

Workshops and Events
Bija offers workshops and provides yoga activities for special events. Wksp topics include:
Yoga for Your Child's Bedtime Routine, Yoga for Sibling Rivalry, Yoga for New Parents, and
Yoga for Allergies and Asthma. Yoga is a great addition to outdoor family festivals, family
reunions, corporate family days and more. If you are interested in offering Bija Kids or
Family Yoga at your event, or scheduling a workshop at your studio or school please contact
us at yoga@bijakids.com. Custom workshops can be created, so let us know what you are
looking for!

12pm - 12:45pm: Family Yoga (ages 2+ with adult)
1:15pm - 2:15pm: YOGA PLAYGROUP (ages 18mths - 5yrs with adult) NEW!
2:30pm - 3:15pm: Down Dog (ages 3 - 10 yrs)

$25.00 per family/drop-in (2yrs+ with adult)
This lively and challenging class is an excellent way to connect through yoga. Group poses,
pranayama (breathing practices), and age appropriate meditation techniques instill
confidence and self-esteem and are great tools to carry off the mat, no matter what your
age! Each class includes sun salutations, balancing poses, partner poses, yoga games
and deep relaxation. 3 - 6yr old classes include storytime, yoga games, singing and
bubbles. No yoga experience necessary. Adult participation required.

Join Bija Kids Director Lauren Maples to learn how to incorporate yoga tools into your
family's daily routine. We will discuss way to create a stress free (and enjoyable!) bedtime
routine, simple breathing techniques to stop tantrums in their tracks, how to tackle that
chronic runny nose with remedies already in your kitchen pantry, and easy ways to bring
yoga into your life anytime anywhere! Question and answer period will help you address
specific challenges and enjoy family life to its fullest potential. Call or email with questions
